Monitor

The device without which the computer cannot be imagined is the monitor. The monitor is the display unit. The results of the instructions given by the computer are displayed directly on the monitor.  The monitor can be digital or analog.  It can be black and white or colored.  However, the black and white monitor is not very visible.

Technically, monitors can be of two types.  LCD and cathode-ray type.  It looks like a wall clock, light in weight.  LCD monitors could not gain popularity due to high prices.  At present, 14-inch, 15-inch, 16-inch, and 21-inch monitors are available in the market.

Motherboard

The motherboard is the circuit board inside the computer.  It connects all the necessary devices of the system.  And there is a system to add new devices.  In computer parlance, devices are called peripherals.  Due to the continuous advancement of technology, it is not possible to give an accurate identification of the motherboard as new peripherals are being added to the motherboard as the days go by. The motherboard is connected to all devices in the computer system by bus speed.

Different devices are connected by attaching motherboard extension slots.  At present, these devices are built-in into the motherboard. As a result, there is no need to install these devices separately.  The Pentium motherboard has bus slots at the top.  System adapters such as video, sound, networking, etc. cards are placed in the bus slot.  The motherboard has a RAM slot on the top right.  Also 1/0 card on the motherboard, floppy drive controller, two IDE chain connectors, SATA port.  Keyboard and mouse connector, USB port.  All these connectors are connected with a ribbon cable.  There are various types of motherboards available in the market today. Some of the notable motherboard companies are Asus, Gigabyte, Intel, ECS, etc.

CPU

The full form of CPU is "Central Processing Unit". This is the most important part. Which performs all the tasks as per the instructions and gives the results.  CPU refers to the processor.  Processors are devices with numerous electronic circuits. Which can extract comparative information by verifying the given information using logic gates.  The part that the processor has to do this is the ALU. The CPU is one of the most important components of a computer.  This part deals with the mathematical analysis of all the instructions that are given to work on the computer, the logical formatting, the control, and the storage of the required information at the specified time.  Just as the brain keeps the animal's body moving, so does the CPU keep the computer functional.  This is why the CPU is called the brain of the computer.
